Heribert Gierl is professor of marketing. He was professor (ad interim) of Market Management at the Faculty of Agriculture and Horticulture at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan, professor (ad interim) of Business Administration at the University of Regensburg, and a founding professor of Business Administration at the Technical University of Freiberg. Since 1992 he is professor of Business Administration with a special focus on Marketing at the University of Augsburg. He published articles in journals such as International Journal of Research in Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Marketing Letters, and OR Spectrum.
